There's no place like home

It's so true, isn't it? There really is no greater feeling than when you know you are going home! Especially after being away for a long time. And when you get there, some things and people have changed, but for the most part, it is exactly how you remember it being! I love going home! I was able to go back to the states this October for 10 days, and I had a great time. My biggest fear was that my niece and nephew wouldn't recognize me, even after regular FaceTime chats. And of course that the family dog wouldn't either! Thankfully everyone remembered me, including the dog! I didn't tell any friends I was coming, because with only being there a short time, I didn't want to feel any more stress of trying to get together with people, especially after coming from another time zone and dealing with jet-lag on top of everything else! And I wanted to get some intensive time with my family. So here are a few highlights from the trip.

Lots of fun, already looking forward to the next time I can go home! And in the mean time, excited for my sister to come out to celebrate Christmas and New Years here in Ireland!
