Day trip to Howth

A few weeks ago we decided we wanted to "get out" for a day. Walk, be in the fresh air, and maybe get some sunshine. We decided to go to Howth, a small peninsula, just north of Dublin. We started at Sutton at the edge of the peninsula and walked all the way back around to Sutton, encountering some fantastic scenery and a full day of sunshine! It took us about 5 hours round trip, with plenty of stops along the way, and a small lunchtime picnic. There are beautiful cliffs, hidden coves, beaches, and hilly trails. Definitely worth a visit to when the weather is good in Ireland.
